Sickness absence
DWP reports quarterly to the Cabinet Office on its levels of sickness absence. The latest report is as follows:
- In the 12 months to 30 June 2009, the average level of sickness absence was 8.5 days per staff year. This is a reduction of 0.4 days from the previous report for March and a cumulative reduction of 1.4 days over the past 12 months.
