A unique opportunity to undertake assessments for the Independent Living Fund
We require five self-employed independent assessors covering:
- Northern Ireland
- Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Borders)
- West Midlands
- East Midlands
- South West England
It is essential that applicants have experience of assessing complex adult community care packages.
You will be asked to carry out three or more assessments per week and each assessment may require up to 6 hours work. You will be expected to travel widely and extensively across the relevant region. In return, you will be paid £102.00 (£120.00 in London) plus travel expenses for each completed assessment.
It is essential that you are a registered Social Worker with HCPC or hold an equivalent professional health and social care qualification (for example occupational therapist) and live in the area for the post applied for.
