- Building a Society for all Ages (July 2009) presents the Government’s vision for a society where people should no longer be defined by their age but by their capabilities. Everyone should have an equal opportunity ot participate.
- National dementia strategy (February 2009) sets out initiatives designed to make the lives of people with dementia, their carers and families better and more fulfilled (Department of Health website).
- Preparing for our ageing society – a discussion paper (November 2008) the first stage of a review of the Government’s strategy for meeting the challenges of our ageing society.
- Carers' strategy (June 2008) sets out the Government's short-term agenda and long-term vision for the future care and support of carers (Department of Health website).
- Lifetime Homes, Lifetime Neighbourhoods (February 2008) outlines the Government’s plans for making sure that there is enough appropriate housing available in future to relieve the forecasted unsustainable pressures on homes, health and social care services (Communities and Local Government website).
