What's new
18 October 2007
This year’s Opportunity for all Indicators update has been published.
Opportunity for all is the Government’s annual report on poverty and social exclusion, and has been produced since 1999. However, the Government recognises that many challenges remain and that tackling these updated challenges requires a new focus. This is why an updated account of the strategy in the traditional Opportunity for all format is not being published this year.
Other documents provide information on the key developments in the poverty and social exclusion strategy. The National Action Plan on Social Exclusion will be updated in 2008 and the Social Exclusion Task Force will continue its work on increasing and rationalising support for the most excluded. And many strands of the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review report on how further progress will be made.
The indicators on this website will be updated at regular intervals.
